Burger was good, nice big patty cooked perfect. Got the chile relleno burger and tasted good but a little disappointed the chile had no heat. Fries were great as always, one of my favorite places for fries. Friendly service, place was relatively clean. Will keep going by for sure.
I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long and regret not trying it sooner! The green chile cheeseburger is so delicious and juicy. The fries come out so hot crispy. My husband got the special, the sopa burger. He said it was great. The weather was perfect to sit on the patio with the mountain view. I will be returning soon to my new favorite burger joint.
Cool little spot on the side of the road where you can get a killer burger, fries and drink and enjoy your meal in the fresh air of the foot hills riddled with cedar and pinon trees. All the orders I saw coming out of the kitchen while I was waiting for my burger looked delicious! I had a Mushroom and Swiss burger with some onion rings and a root beer and my brother had a Green chili double cheeseburger with tater tots and a Coke. but there's much more to choose from on the menu, from Frito pies and enchiladas, to fish n chips and corn dogs/chili dogs, I don't think I saw anything on the menu I didn't like or wouldn't mind trying! Thank you Burger Boy for a great first time dining experience with you, I'm sure it won't be the last. Looking forward to the next visit already.
This is the type of burger place that I’m looking for when I travel across the country on my motorcycle. And I shady spot to park the people were friendly the place was busy but I only had to wait about five minutes for my burger. The owner came out and asked if I would try a new type of bun making it clear that they’re always trying to make the food better and they did not disappoint. My double bacon green chili cheeseburger was on fire. The fries are fresh cut and fried to perfection and one of the customers loves the business so much that he sitting at the counter taking orders to speed things along. It was nice to see young people working behind the counter with wise leader ship and an owner that takes true ownership of her business. She said her mother is 97 years old and still works in the business. If you’re looking for a hearty old fashioned cheese burger look no further than burger boy when your in the East Mountains of Albuquerque New Mexico
Burger Boy is absolutely one of the BEST places in Cedar Crest, and an essential part of East Mountain dining! They have been here for years and have served thousands of satisfied customers. The staff is hard-working, friendly, and simply amazing. I recently heard some bad reviews have been circulating & honestly feel people will complain about anything, just to complain. When you come here (and you'll seriously be missing out if you don't), expect a wait, OR ORDER AHEAD! If you like crispy bacon, say so. If you don't want something that usually comes with your order, mention it. **Expectation management is part of adulting.** Enjoy your experience here!!
We were traveling to Arizona when we found Burger Boy. The burger is excellent, just like homemade! Fries could use improvement.
The food is sooo amazing and the staff are great. It gets crowded on the weekend so make sure you get there during non peak hours or be prepared to wait. We had shakes, burgers, fries and onion rings and everything was very tasty!
Best burgers in NM! However, I usually get the fish sandwich... DANK! Never had a fish sandwich that good!! Highly recommended.
